Fire Sealing Curtain wall joint (Glass façade with slab)
On installing, Curtain Wall joint seal, it act as a fire barrier,retarding the progress of fire, smoke and heat between floors of multi‑storey buildings. The product is designed to be installed between the edge of the concrete floor slab and a fire rated spandrel panel to provide floor to floor fire separation.
The curtain sealing or glass façade sealing is also advised by NBC2016
- Floor thickness above 114 mm
- Joint gap of 200 mm
- Fire rating 3 hours F, 2.5 hours T
- The sealant is approved acoustic
as per ASTM E90. - Aluminium or GI flushing is made
